Well, a start of another week! Where does time go? For those of us that work full-time on here, time really gets away from us.

I can sit at this computer for hours without taking a break - although I don't realize I'm sitting here that long.

Now doing that means my house can easily become a pig stye! Although I live by myself, I'm amazed at how cluttered and dirty things can get. Ever feel that way? Are things getting so cluttered and the house a mess you get to a point you don't want to even clean?

A cluttered house can mean a cluttered mind. A cluttered mind can interfere with your online productivity.

Here's a quick tip to help you live in a clutter-free environment.

Everytime you get up from the computer - whether to get a cup of coffee, a bathroom break, whatever - clean something up. If you have mail and things piling up on your dining room table, next time you get up for that cup of coffee, clean that table. A few months ago I started doing just that. Everytime I got up from the computer, something got cleaned. Even something small will make a difference. Dust building on your television? Next time you get up for that coffee, first clean the television.

If your habits no longer include cleaning - doing the above will bring back that "good habit." So next time you get up to go to the bathroom - pick something up or get that windex and clean up the dust on your tv or monitor. Soon you'll be in the habit and you'll be living in a clean, clutter-free environment.

For those of you working so hard on here that your entire house is a mess - to the point where you have given up - make a point to clean one room a day. By the end of the week you'll be so proud of yourself maybe you'll be more productive online? LOL Hey, it wouldn't hurt! But I do know that when my office is clean - no clutter on my desks - I'm more excited about working in here.
